Nakayama Miho
Description:
Miho Nakayama's 5th studio album released in July 1987 is now available as a SACD hybrid for the first time in the world through Tower Records limited sales. The latest remastering in 2023 from the original analog master tape. The album underwent a state-of-the-art mastering process under the supervision of Stereo Sound Inc. to reproduce the sound of the original recording more realistically. The charm of the artist Miho Nakayama, captured on the original master tape, and the advanced and extravagant sound quality created by top creators have been brought out to the fullest extent in this rich SACD HB experience! This is a dance-pop masterpiece (including the first LA recording) by Miho Nakayama, an artist who had already established an unshakeable position as a top idol and was beginning to master the art of concept-oriented albums and artwork supremacy. The songs included "Liberty Girl," written by Miho Nakayama under her pen name and composed by Ken Sato; "Singapore," composed by Toshinobu Kubota and arranged by Motonori Funayama, who was just beginning to distinguish himself; "Linne Magic," written by Tetsuya Komuro, who was then in his prime; "Okochai na Rendezvous," an Asian melody; "By-By My Sea Breeze," composed by Toshinobu Kubota, and others, which featured gorgeous and thickly painted effect synth sounds, and was arranged by Shiro Sagisu and Motonori Funayama, who were at the forefront of their field. The first half of the album is dominated by cutting-edge digital funk, including "By-By My Sea Breeze" written by Toshinobu Kubota, "Sadness Rider" by Shiro Sagisu and Motoki Funayama, and "Manatsu wa Nonfiction" and "Kesshin" by Ken Sato. Nonfiction" and "Kesshin" written by Ken Sato, the second half of the album is dominated by the delicate, precise, and stylish digital sounds of master Nobuyuki Shimizu. Augie Johnson of Side Effect in the U.S. and James Studer, who also arranged Mari Iijima's works, participate in the backing chorus.(Original release: July 15, 1987 / King Records / K32X-170)This single song was released in March 1987 with lyrics by Takashi Matsumoto, music by Kyouhei Tsutumi, and arranged by Motoki Funayama, and was also used as the theme song for the TV drama "Mama wa Idol" starring Miho Nakayama herself. ! and its coupling "Jealousy", "50/50 (Fifty Fifty)", a single song composed by Tetsuya Komuro and arranged by Motoki Funayama and released in July 1987, and its coupling "Slanted Love Forgive Me" arranged by Shiro Sagisu, as well as 4 instrumentals of each song, for a total of 8 additional tracks. The album will be released in Japan on November 7, 2012.Arranged by Shiro Sagisu, Motoki Funayama, Nobuyuki ShimizuMixed by Peter BarkerRecorded by Ichiro Yoshie, Saburo Nakamura, Noriyasu Murase (backing vo)...etc.■Manufacture and release: King Records Japan, Inc. ■Planning and sales: Tower Records Japan, Inc. ■Supervision: Stereo Sound Inc. /CD Hybrid disc.
