From the age of seven she studied guitar, piano, jazz guitar and composition at Chetham's School of Music in Manchester, before taking up a scholarship at the Royal Academy of Music in London, from which she graduated with highest honours. In 2019 she was awarded the Timothy Gilson Guitar Prize, and she has taken prizes in quick succession at the Edinburgh Guitar Competition in Scotland, the Carpathian International Youth Guitar Competition in Budapest and the Gregynog Young Musician Competition in Wales. Her work extends across a wide range of genres: in 2016 she was chosen to perform with the internationally renowned Irish singer-songwriter Imelda May at Abbey Road Studios. Her first album, "My European Journey", is headed by Tárrega's Recuerdos de la Alhambra and includes standard works by Coste, Regondi and Legnani, alongside a number of fine but little-known pieces played in Vienna, London, Copenhagen and elsewhere, rich in local colour.
