The two-piano concerto played by the sister duo of Aya and Lisa Sakamoto appears in the Mozart series by the next generation of soloists! ＜This is the 10th installment of the "Mozart by the Next Generation of Soloists" series. It features a concerto for two pianos played by the sister duo Aya and Lisa Sakamoto, who have won numerous international competitions, including first prize at the 21st Schubert International Piano Duo Competition (Czech Republic), and have been performing as Piano Duo Sakamoto. With the support of virtuoso pianist Howard Griffiths, the girls give a fresh and lively performance, and their performance is perfectly in tune with each other. The program also includes a concerto symphony for wind instruments performed by the splendid members, all of whom have already debuted as soloists with ALPHA and others, and a concerto work by Syrian-born violinist Bilal Alnemr, who is also active with the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra. Mozart's Concerto for Two Pianos is a special work in our piano duo's life, and our hearts ache every time we touch this piece.I am very happy to have been able to record this work in such a wonderful environment, where the cheerful and happy atmosphere that saves us from the sorrows of this world and the playful conversations between the players are so appealing. Flying to Vienna, meeting the two Bösendorfer players, and making music with conductor Mr. Griffiths, we were magically inspired by new interpretations, and I am convinced that our performance was unique to the atmosphere of the time.
