Zygmunt Krause, born in 1938, is a composer, pianist, and educator who serves as music advisor to IRCAM and composition teacher at several American, European, and Asian universities. Zbigniew Bargielski, born in 1937, who studied with Nadia Boulanger and adopted the French aesthetic style in Polish music. Bettina Skrzypczak, born in 1963, who received a degree in music theory and composition from the Poznan Music Academy, studied further in Switzerland, and is now a lecturer at the University of Lucerne.
