Kathleen Perlow gained worldwide popularity in the early 20th century. She once visited Japan on a world tour. In addition to her nostalgic SP reissue, this collection includes a highly sought-after first release! The second installment of the Biddulph label's "Auer's Legacy" series introducing performers under Leopold Auer is the legendary Canadian-born female violinist Kathleen Perlow (1890-1963). Parlow showed talent at an early age, studying with Henry Holmes, a pupil of Spohr, in San Francisco, and making her recital debut at age 6. concerto with the London Symphony Orchestra, and gave a recital at the Bechstein Hall (now the Wigmore Hall). Impressed by Mischa Elman's performance, Perlow decided to study with Elman's teacher, Leopold Auer, and entered the St. Petersburg Conservatory at the age of 16. He entered the St. Petersburg Conservatory at the age of 16, where he studied in the same class as Ehrman (one year younger than Perlow) and Efrem Zimbalist (one year older than Perlow).Auer had given a summer course in Kristiania (now Oslo), Norway, and Parlow visited there to perform before the King and Queen of Norway, and a wealthy man presented her with a 1735 Guarneri del Gesù, which had been used by Viotti.
