George Dyson is a British composer. He studied at the Royal College of Music in England, where he was awarded the "Mendelssohn Scholarship. In 1937, he was appointed president of the Royal College of Music, where he contributed to the development of the British music world. This 2-CD set includes all of Dyson's piano works, including world premiere recordings. You can hear a variety of works, from "Untitled Piano Pieces," a work from when he was seven years old, to "Primrose Mount," which has a Debussy-esque feel, to "Three Wartime Epigrams," which draws on his experience on the Western Front.
