TURKISH DELIGHT* is a monumental project conceived, supervised, and produced by Kareem Turk, founder of ESCAPE MUSIC—one of the UK's premier melodic HR/HM labels established in 1995. He personally curated the music and musicians, realizing his vision. The name references the traditional Turkish sweet known as lokum, reflecting his connection to his roots. Vol. I was released in 2022, followed by Vol. II in 2023.And now, the culminating masterpiece, the new album 'Vol.III', is finally released! This album also features a dazzling array of musicians! Singers include Robin McAuley (MSG/Black Swan), Steve Overland (FM/Lonerider), Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple), James LaBrie (Dream Theater/solo), Steve Walsh (Kansas), Harry Hess (Harem Scarem), and others. Guitarists include Kei Marcelo (Europe), Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake/The Dead Daisies), Lawrence Archer (Grand Slam/Thin Lizzy/solo), and more. On bass, Billy Sheehan (Talas/David Lee Roth/Mr. Big) and others join in, while on drums, Vinnie Appice (Black Sabbath/Dio/Last In Line) and others participate! The songs carefully selected by Kareel are tailored to each singer, packed with tracks that embody the essence of melodic hard rock/heavy metal!
