ANTHEM's latest original album is finally complete! All songs are written in English and released simultaneously all over the world! In 2019, ANTHEM released the album "NUCLEUS" simultaneously worldwide, which was newly recorded by the current lineup with English lyrics added to selected songs from their previous albums. Four years later, ANTHEM has completed their long-awaited new album. It is titled "CRIMSON & JET BLACK". All new songs are written in English, and the album will be released simultaneously all over the world. After two anniversary tours in 2021, the 35th anniversary tour which was postponed for a year due to the Corona disaster, and the 20th anniversary reunion tour "ANTHEM vs ANTHEM 2001", ANTHEM will enter a "new chapter" in 2022, with a worldwide release. In 2022, ANTHEM entered a "new chapter" and began work on an original album to be released worldwide.The new album was originally scheduled to be recorded in the spring of 2022 and released by the end of the year, but due to a decision by leader Naoto Shibata that "I don't think we have enough new songs of sufficient quality yet," the schedule was reset and recording will be done from the summer to the fall of 2022. The recording will take place from the summer of 2022 through the fall of 2022. The album will be produced by Shibata as before, but Jens Bogren, who mixed and mastered "NUCLEUS," will be a co-producer this time. CRIMSON & JET BLACK" is the first original album in six years since 2017's "ENGRAVED" and the 17th in total, the 10th since the reunion in 2001, and the third with the current strongest lineup. 21st century ANTHEM has always had the goal of "the latest work is the best The quality of the songs on this album is world-class, and the sound is strong, fresh, and unmistakably ANTHEM.
