A duo album by Atsuko Kobashi, a pianist living in Amsterdam, with a Dutch bassist. The duo performs several pieces from the late Coltrane's "Crescent" album, and the album is a European jazz album filled with deep and quiet emotions. Recorded in a former church in the woods outside Utrecht, the Netherlands. The handmade piano by an Italian craftsman, the lush tone of Fazzioli and the overwhelming presence of the wood bass combine with Coltrane's musical ideas to create a deep blues feeling that seeps into the heart.
