The historical masterpiece of "Fauréc" is by Cluytens, but Praetor's approach is still brilliant and magnificent. It is a very moody performance. The way he cuts off the notes is bold, yet exquisite. This is one of the best recordings since Cluytens. Debussy is also a delightful coupling, and he sings with a generous, leisurely, and elegant style, without a trace of nervousness. Tobu Land System
