A phantom digital recording of the complete first release! This is a reissue of the digital recording on data tape, which was groundbreaking at the time. This is the second collection of the famous performances by the conductor, Yasunobu Akutagawa. Liner notes by Yoichi Seido! In the 1980s, digital recording was in its infancy and was becoming popular. Digital recording was gradually spreading to the private sector through the revolutionary method of PCM digital recording on Beta tapes, which were video tapes used for video. The clear sound quality of the second volume of the Yasunobu Akutagawa + New Symphony Orchestra Masterpieces is astonishing, as everything was digitally recorded using this method. The "Ninth" from the memorable 100th subscription concert was a muscular, smart, and pleasant performance. Akutagawa's unique and creative performance with its detailed changes, which is unique in his handling of choral music, will make listeners roar with delight. It is also a pleasure to hear two of Mozart's famous symphonies in this recording. The passionate performance is elegant, reminiscent of Walter's, and does not try to hide the scent of romance. Shostakovich was busy with introductions throughout his life. It is also a thrill to hear the Fifth.
