Katia Buniatishvili is a "rising star" from Georgia, a country that has produced many outstanding musicians. In 2011, she signed an exclusive contract with Sony Classical and made her debut in the spring of the same year with a collection of Liszt's works. In 2012, she released her second album with an all-Chopin program. She also made her first visit to Japan at the same time. This third album, "Motherland," is a departure from her previous albums, and is a collection of lullabies, nostalgic songs, folk songs, memorial songs, and many other small pieces that will bring you to a strange state of mind.
