Stereophonics has been one of the top-ranking bands in the UK for many years, with 7 of their last 11 albums reaching #1 in the U.K. Since their debut in 1997, the band has released one quality album every few years, and their amazing stability is still going strong. While their previous two albums were released on the Parlophone/Warner label, this is their 12th album, released on their own label, Stylus Records, which they established in 2012 (in partnership with Ignition, known for Oasis, and also rejoined Sony in Japan). The two singles "Hanging On Your Hinges" and "Do Ya Feel My Love?", which have already been distributed, return to the energetic, straightforward guitar rock that fans have been waiting for, and the other songs on the album are familiar and easy to relate to the early work that established their rocky career. The other songs on the album feature the familiar melodies and mature band sound of the band's veterans, which is reminiscent of their earlier work when they built a solid career.The album title "OOCHYA! is a phrase often used by the band members in the studio and means "Let's do it! It means "Let's do it! This fresh, positive, and exciting album was released 25 years after the band's debut.
