Artwork for the series is by illustration master Hiroshi Nagai. Five years after his masterpiece "In the Stream of Time," which won a Grammy Award for best album, this is the soundtrack disc for the movie "One Trick Pony," which Simon himself produced, wrote, and starred in. The film tells the story of the struggles of a dull middle-aged rocker "Jonah" played by Simon, and studio musicians Eric Gale (g), Richard Tee (p), Tony Levin (b), and Steve Gadd (ds), who participated in the recording of the film, also appear in the film as a backing band. The band also appears in the film as a back-up band. The single "A Night to Remember" was cut and reached #6 in the U.S., and the album reached #12 in the U.S. (1980).
