Koji Yakusho stars in this film with Ryo Yoshizawa as his son. The latest film by Izuru Narushima, a master director of human dramas such as "The Eighth Day of the Cicada," "Solomon's Perjury," and "Inochi no Tokuba," depicts the bond between a clumsy ceramic artist father who wishes his son who has been transferred to a foreign country happy, and a young Brazilian man living in an apartment complex in a neighboring town, and tells a touching story of people trying to build a "family" beyond differences in nationality, culture, and circumstances. It is a moving story of people trying to create a "family" that transcends differences in nationality, culture, and circumstances. The music is composed by Goro Yasukawa, winner of the Best Music Award at the 35th Japan Academy Prize for his work on Narushima's "The Cicada of the Eighth Day.
