The latest studio album from PRAYING MANTIS, one of NWOBHM's most veteran bands and still highly popular in Japan since their debut album "Time Tells No Lies" became a huge hit. The band is known for its twists and turns since its debut in 1981. Despite the success of their debut album in Japan, the band had business troubles in their home country of the UK, and stopped their activities after only one album and a few singles. After some time, in 1990, the band reunited in earnest and released their second album "Predator in Disguise" in Japan, after appearing at a concert celebrating the 10th anniversary of NWOBHM in Japan. The band was quite fluid in its membership, except for the Troy brothers, who were the core members, but there were times when Dennis Stratton, Paul Deano, Clive Burr, and Gary Burden of MSG, formerly of IRON MAIDEN, were in the band. After reuniting, the band steadily released albums and toured, celebrating the 40th anniversary of their debut in 2021 and releasing the album "Katharsis" the following year.The band delighted their fans with catchy and melodious works featuring unchanging chorus work and twin lead guitar harmonies. This latest release from the band, which is still active at the forefront of the music scene, is full of the Mantis style that fans have come to expect from the band. The songs are melodious and hooky, with the traditional twin-lead guitars and the damp, melancholy chorus work, of course, still present. No matter where you take it, you will surely be able to enjoy PRAYING MANTIS.
