Shura is a London-based producer/singer whose song "Touch", self-released in 2014 (re-released in 2016), currently has over 30 million views on Youtube. Three years after that, she moved to Secretly Canadian and released her long-awaited second album "Forevher"! Born and raised in Manchester, UK to a Russian actress mother and a British documentary filmmaker father, Aleksandra Denton's solo project "Shura" began playing guitar at the age of 13, recording at 16, and independently releasing her debut album in 2011. In 2014, she independently released "Touch", which currently has over 30 million views on Youtube (and was re-released by Polydor in 2016), and in 2015 was selected for the BBC Music Sound of 2015. released their debut album, Nothing's Real, the following year on Polydor.After an 8-week US tour, the band spent 10 days in Minneapolis with guitarist Luke Saunders to begin work on "Forevher," their second album in three years. The production of this album is based on his own experiences in New York City.
