This is the second album by a super quartet of musicians representing southern Italy. This album features the wonderful vocals of Enza Pagliara, a vocalist highly acclaimed by the world-renowned pianist Ludovico Einaudi. The songs on this album are traditional songs from Puglia, Campania, Sicily, Sardinia, and other parts of southern Italy. This work conveys a journey through emotions connected to love and tenderness. It is also a tribute to Italian culture and to humanity itself. The album is an ode to tenderness, love, and the beauty of Italian folklore. It is also an evocation of the importance of universal emotions that allow us to connect as human beings in a hectic world. The sound of this album is very solid and unique.We added new harmonies and rhythms to each song" (comments percussionist Luigi Morleo, who arranged all the songs). Originally sung a cappella, the traditional songs have become more universal under the wonderful arrangements.
