The members, who were exposed to ZARD's works while taking lessons with the aim of making their debut, were discovered by producer Daisuki Nagato, ZARD's producer and founder of Being Group, and decided to change the "Z" of "ZARD" to "SARD UNDERGROUND" as "a presence that will pass on ZARD's works to future generations". The girls' band, named "SARD UNDERGROUND" by inverting the "Z" in "ZARD", has released a new album to commemorate their 5th anniversary! SARDUNDERGROUND, which just released "ZARD tribute Best Selection" in March this year, will release an original album! The album includes the fresh and sad "Graduation Ceremony", the bright positive song "Is that marriage sane? the retro rock POP number "Nada Iro de", and "Yume de Aimasho", which is also a single from the same album.Vocalist Tomoa Jono wrote the lyrics for 10 of the 11 songs, while bassist Izumi Sugioka and keyboardist Hiromi Sakamoto also participated in some of the choruses. With their expressive skills, which they have continued to hone since their debut, they have completed their second original album, which is rich in variety, yet has a royal J-POP feel to it.
