The FUKIO Ensemble is a saxophone quartet that has performed well at numerous music festivals and competitions since its establishment in 2008, including gold medals at the UGDA Competition in Luxembourg and the Gianni Bergamo Classical Music Prize in Switzerland. The members, who studied contemporary music at one of Europe's most prestigious universities, the University of Music and Dance in Cologne, and chamber music at the Conservatoire in Paris, focus on performing music for saxophone quartet and creating new repertoire in this genre. 2016, WDR (Western German Broadcasting), ARS Produktion, and the University of Music and Dance Cologne awarded them the "Taste the Best" prize, and this album was produced with their support. Dvorak's "America," performed with superb technique, is a must-hear. Tokyo M-Plus
