The band has completed their latest studio album "ENDLING", three years after their last album "SPLID", which became the No. 1 album in their home country of Norway! Described by Revolver magazine as "blackened rock 'n' roll party beasts," the band is a milestone in extreme music, fusing punk and black metal with classic rock worship.Kvaratak has a unique style in all aspects of his music, from the fast-paced rock beats to the triple-guitar harmonies to the lyrics in his native Norwegian. Kvaratak is, as the title of this latest album suggests, the last survivor of an endangered species, a rare and rare existence. Released in 2020 after a change of vocalist in 2018 and a move to Rise Records in 2019, their last album, "SPLID," was highly acclaimed by media outlets such as Stereogum, Kerrang! and Revolver. This latest release, "ENDLING," continues the approach of the previous album, but in the form of a worldview/story theme with a deeper commitment to the world of local lore and legend.
