Very slow! Bizarre Bach Mean Law excerpts! This CD is an album of completely new interpretations of Bach's music, an ambitious attempt to create a sacred image through sound. You will not hear the usual Bach. First of all, the tempo is set very slow. The tempo is set very slow, and it takes more than twice the usual time for each piece, which is surprising. This was necessary to express the stillness of the sacred image. It is normal to play slowly in practice, but it is very difficult to make it work as a performance. There must have been careful planning and careful rehearsals. It is interesting to note that only the last piece in Siroti's arrangement is at a normal tempo. Tatiana Kozlova was born in St. Petersburg and currently lives in Thuringia, Germany. She is the winner of the London Piano Competition and the Maria Utina Piano Competition. As a concerto soloist, she has performed with the St. Petersburg State Symphony Orchestra, the Cologne WDR Symphony Orchestra, the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra, and others.
