Pianist Hideyo Harada with passion and intelligence. Eiyo Harada is a German pianist who expresses Schubert's musical world with precision, and is active in Japan and around the world. She has released Grieg's Lyric Pieces (AU92555), Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff (AU92569), and Schumann's Fantasies, Kreisleriana, and Arabesque (AU92577/KKC5104). All of them received high acclaim, and Schumann in particular was highly acclaimed in domestic and international reviews, including the Record Geijutsu Special Selection, and made Harada's unfathomable musical talent known. This release features two major works by Schubert. From 2003 to 2010, Harada presented a series of concerts that gave a complete picture of Schubert's music through his songs and chamber music.
