Spanish horn player Adrián Díaz Martínez studied at the Hans Eisler University of Music in Berlin with renowned horn player Marie-Louise Neunecker. He has won prizes at the "Città di Porcia" in Italy and the International Mozart Competition in Salzburg, and has previously worked with the Berlin Konzerthaus Orchestra and the NDR Elbphilharmonie, and is a horn player with the Bayreuth Festival Orchestra since 2019. This album is his first recording with Ikuko Odai, who is a chorepetitore at the Berlin University of Music and an official accompanist at the Munich ARD International Music Competition and the International Instrumental Music Competition in Markneukirchen, etc. The legendary British horn player who died in a car accident at the young age of 36, The album includes Poulenc's Elegy, dedicated to the legendary British horn player Dennis Brain, Neulink's Bagatelle, which is known as an audition piece, and Coutziel's Variations, an important piece in the repertoire of horn players in the 20th century.Through this album, the Spanish virtuoso appeals to audiences with the charm of the highly technical horn.
