A collection of works by Rita Strohl, who was devoted to both Wagner and Symbolism, and also includes a valuable song collection Rita Strohl. Rita was born to a military father and a mother with a talent for painting and music. After receiving musical instruction from her mother, she entered the Conservatory in Paris at the age of 13, where she took classes with Félix Le Coupe (Chaminade was also a student of Le Coupe). He married and had a baby in 1888, but never stopped composing music. She was devoted to both Wagner and Symbolism, and wrote large-scale works such as epic poems and symphonies. Her songs are particularly rare, and here is a rare recording of them. King International
