Pink Floyd's classic album "Flame - Wish You Were Here" (Wish You Were Here) 50th Anniversary Edition (Blu-ray Audio) Half a century after the original release (September 12, 1975), Pink Floyd is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the album that defined an era, "Flame - Wish You Were Here". This Blu-ray release will include the album's first Dolby Atmos mix by James Guthrie, bonus tracks consisting of studio rarities, and a previously unreleased live performance of over 130 minutes from the April 26, 1975 Los Angeles Sports Arena show. The album will also include a previously unreleased 130+ minute live performance at the Los Angeles Sports Arena on April 26, 1975. The band performs early versions of songs from "Flames" and "Animals," which were still unreleased at the time, as well as the entire "Madness" album. Recorded by renowned bootlegger Mike Millard and meticulously restored and remastered by Stephen Wilson (who remixed "Pink Floyd at Pohnpei"), all 16 tracks are being released officially for the first time. Rolling Stone magazine (2021) had this to say about the show. Rolling Stone magazine (2021) said of this show, "If Pink Floyd ever decides to do a bootleg series, they should get the Millard master tape from the LA Sports Arena in '75. This is the show when they were at the peak of their abilities as a live act, and it should be heard as widely as possible. Additional footage will include three concert screen films and a short film by Storm Thorgerson. To celebrate the announcement of the album release, an early demo of the unreleased "Welcome to the Machine" - originally tentatively titled "The Machine Song" - was also released. The Machine Song" was also made public. Although compact compared to the epic scale of the original, "The Machine Song (Demo #2, Revisited)" is an exciting prelude to what awaits on the 50th anniversary edition of "Flame: I Wish You Were Here".Also included on this release is "The Machine Song (Roger's demo)," the first home demo that Roger Waters brought to the band, an unreleased instrumental mix of "Wish You Were Here," which highlights David Gilmour's pedal steel guitar, and "Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Pts. 1-9)," which for the first time combines the A and B versions of the Rubum album into one. instrumental mix, and "Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Pts. 1-9)," which for the first time combines the two separate versions of the A and B sides of the Rubam into one complete album. This new, complete version has been brought to life with an updated stereo mix by James Guthrie, and will allow you to experience the band's creative vision from a new angle. (1/3)
