Live recording by Kansas, one of the greatest American progressive hard bands! The tour to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the classic album "Eternal Overture" is recorded in its entirety! Since their major label debut in 1974, Kansas has been actively performing in arenas and stadiums all over the world during the 70's and 80's, and even today. The band boasts a strong following as one of America's most popular bands. The band's first major hits were "Eternal Overture" (1976) and "Toward Darkness" (1976), both of which helped to solidify their position in the music industry. This is a live recording from the North American tour that followed the release of the 2016 album "Overture to the Darkness". The album features 19 songs in 2 hours, with all of the tour's highlights. The tour celebrates the band's new lineup, new album, and the 40th anniversary of their masterpiece, "Eternal Overture," and includes all songs from "Eternal Overture" in album order. The tour will cover all of the band's most popular songs from the 1970s, including "All in the Wind," "The Voyage of No Return," and many more. It also includes songs from their 2016 album "Implicit Overture". Produced by Jeff Glicksman, who has been involved with Kansas' work for many years, including "Eternal Overture". The artwork, which combines images from both albums, "Eternal Overture" and "Implicit Overture," is also impressive.
