Violin legend Kyung-Wha Chung returns to the studio for the first time in 15 years to record "Bach: Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin" in 2016, which is now available exclusively on analog vinyl! Limited edition analog vinyl release! This is a milestone work of violin music that the artist himself has been working on throughout his long career, dreaming and challenging himself to record someday. After a long hiatus, it is with great pleasure that I announce my return to the studio for a series of exciting recordings, the first of which is a monumental work of violin music. The first of these is a monumental work, J.S. Bach's Sonatas & Partitas for Solo Violin. It is the object of my never-ending quest in my musical journey. It is wonderful to have the opportunity to work again with Stephen Johns (who was my producer for a long period of time during my contract with EMI)," said Chung Kyung-wha. The six pieces heard here are all performances in which she read the scores meticulously, imagined the works, and approached the Bach music as closely as she could.
