The long-awaited Beethoven concertos and sonatas. This is the second Beethoven album after 13 years since "Waldstein, et al. German pianist Alice-Sarah Ott, of Japanese and German descent, is one of those contemporary artists who captivate audiences with her free handling of intense passion and contemplative serenity. Her video-infused installation performances in "Echoes of Life" have attracted a wide following, from core classical fans to light young people. Beethoven is an important part of her German repertoire, and she has finally recorded the Piano Concerto No. 1, which she has been playing for a long time. The coupling includes the Moonlight Sonata, plus Bagatelle and other smaller pieces. The "For Elise" was included on the "Waldstein" album as a Japanese-only bonus track, so this is a re-recording of the work. The co-performer, Karina Kanellakis, is a female conductor and violinist born in New York in 1982. While studying violin at the Karajan Academy after attending the Curtis Institute of Music, her talent for conducting was discovered by Simon Rattle. She later studied conducting at the Juilliard School.From 2019, he will be Principal Conductor of the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and Principal Guest Conductor of the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra; from 2020 he will be Principal Guest Conductor of the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
