After recovering from a broken arm and getting married, he achieved further human and musical maturity and reached a new stage of his artistry. The deluxe version also includes a live recording made 10 days prior to the studio recording at St. Thomas Church in Leipzig, where Bach was the music director (Thomas Kantor) and where his tomb is located inside the church.
