A complete collection of Beethoven's works for cello and piano by the duo of two master cellists from Hungary! Perenyi is a cellist born in 1948. When he was only 15 years old, he won the Pablo Casals International Competition in Budapest, which caught the attention of the then 80-year-old master Casals and launched his career as an international musician. It has been 23 years since he recorded Beethoven's "Complete Works" with Dejou Lánki on the Hungaroton label (Hungary) in 1979, and he gives a mature performance with his fellow countryman, the famous pianist Schiff.
