A Collection of Brahms’ Late Works: A Musical Journey Toward Silence Having already released recordings of Beethoven’s three late sonatas, this new release features a collection of Brahms’ late works. I look forward to this series continuing to breathe new life into these works, which represent the pinnacle of the composer’s artistry. It is an excellent project that offers a glimpse into Élisée’s approach as a performer. Leopold Elisé is originally from Spain and has been active internationally since 2021, based in Ottawa, Canada. He has performed in numerous concerts across Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Africa. He has given recitals with cellist Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi, clarinetist James Campbell, and others. He has also performed as a concerto soloist and has collaborated with numerous renowned soloists in chamber music. He is an associate professor at the University of Ottawa School of Music and a member of the Wilfrid Laurier Institute. Tobu Shoji Co., Ltd.
