I was so excited to hear what kind of heart-wrenching melodies the beautiful vocalist Molly Rankin would deliver this time that I pressed the play button... and the first song, "In Undertow", was a tearjerker of a song that hit my lacrimal gland and sunk me! I listened to the song with a premonition that it was going to be a masterpiece,The next song, "Dreams Tonite," is another twilight-colored melody that will make you weep. The third or fourth song is another "Alvvays" number, a garage-flavored number, and the premonition that this is a masterpiece is finally confirmed! The rest of the album is just as beautiful as the previous one, and the melodies and light garage-pop are just as relentless as the previous one, and by the time you finish listening to all 10 songs, you will feel like a young boy or girl in adolescence! This time, too, it's an extraordinarily good album with innocence, unrequited love, frustration, moratorium, and everything else that comes with adolescence! When it comes to the current indie rock scene, no one can match the sweet and sour, fragile, heart-throbbing sound of Always!
