THE ASYLUM ALBUMS (1976-1980) is Joni Mitchell's new archival series work focusing on this transformative period.This collection includes Joni's most important releases, including studio albums such as 1976's HEJIRA, 1977's DON JUAN'S RECKLESS DAUGHTER, and 1979's MINGUS, as well as 1980's live album, SHADOWS AND LIGHT. The box set is available in two formats: a 5-CD set and a 6-CD 180-gram heavy vinyl set. The recordings in this box are the latest remastered recordings, meticulously remastered from the original analog master tapes by renowned audio engineer Bernie Grundman. The cover art for the album features some of Joni's original paintings.
