Their first through fifth albums—which have become collector’s items—are also set to be reissued all at once in new colors! As the first Japanese shoegaze band to be featured and reviewed by Pitchfork, ForTracyHyde gained popularity not only in Japan but around the world. Although they sadly disbanded following their 2023 performance at Shibuya WWWX, their legendary set—which featured a wide range of songs from their debut album to their latest release, with a focus on their then-newest album, *Hotel Insomnia*—will be released on CD and vinyl as *Early Checkout: Live at Shibuya WWWX*! This special edition generously includes all 19 songs performed during that concert—which served as a retrospective of ForTracyHyde’s history—and has been remastered specifically for CD and vinyl! In addition, all five of their albums—from their 2016 debut *FilmBleu* to their final album, *HotelInsomnia*, released in 2023—are set to be reissued on vinyl in new colors! Looking back at ForTracyHyde’s discography, their sound has evolved with each album and track—spanning not only shoegaze but also indie pop, guitar pop, alternative, and synth-pop—yet the band’s greatest charm lies in the fact that every song retains that signature ForTracyHyde pop sensibility.
