This live masterpiece, which was released as an unreleased recording and caused a sensation at the time and sold over 10,000 copies on CD here in Japan, is now available for the first time on heavyweight analog vinyl with carefully selected tracks for the LP format! Hound Dog Taylor, Chicago's rockin' bluesman, overwhelmed all who heard his metallic slide guitar. Bruce Igloa, who was in Delmark at the time, fell in love with his skills, and even started Alligator Records to make his name known to the world. This album was released in 2004 with previously unreleased live recordings of Hound Dog Taylor & The Houserockers, and features the explosive performance of the heavyweight trio of Brewer Phillips (Gt) and Ted Harvey (Dr). This is a masterpiece live album that was a big hit in Japan as well.The band goes full throttle right from the start of #1, "Wild About You, Baby," with a storm of rockin' boogie that will have you swooning with excitement. You'll be possessed by the magic of Hound Dog's slides by the end of the song.
