The concerto is performed by the Santa Cecilia Conservatory String Orchestra led by Luigi Piovano, and the DVD includes the entire concerto, as well as a piano concerto version of the Italian concerto arranged by Luigi Piovano's father, composer Antonio Piovano. The entire performance is beautiful and refreshing, with Bae's lively and well-sung piano intertwined with the expansive strings. The Italian Concerto, which takes us back to the original concept of expressing a concerto with a single keyboard instrument, is also an interesting work.
