This album features harp works by Krumfolz and Dushek, two Czech composers from the 18th century Classical period, performed on a single action harp (Louis XVI) from this period. This harp is a model of an instrument made in 1779 by Parisian harp makers Renaud & Chatelain and restored 240 years later, in 2019, by German harp maker Rainer Thurau. The harpist playing is Barbora Praher, who studied at the Prague Conservatory and the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels and was taught by Isabelle Belin at the Norwegian Academy of Music. She is an artist active in multiple genres, not only classical music. Naxos Japan
