Recital album by Antonio Torres Olmo, a double bassist from Albacete, a provincial city in Spain. After studying at the local conservatory, where he received numerous awards, he studied at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris, where he further developed his skills. He has not only performed with many conductors, but has also recorded several albums, and for this album, he has chosen works that he has strongly wished to perform, and he performs them as he wishes. In the Bottezini and Fauré pieces, Olmo makes full use of his understated sound to depict the beauty of the music, while in the Falla and Piazzolla pieces, he expresses intense emotions and engages in fierce battles with his co-star, Hamady, making this album one of the most rewarding to listen to.
