A classic 1964 Prestidge release is back on vinyl! Homesick James, whose cousin is Elmore James, is a famous guitarist who played with Sleepy John Estes, Yank Rachel, and others in the Chicago blues scene. This album was recorded in 1964 and released on Prestidge in the same year, and is one of the most famous albums of his works. Produced by Samuel Charters, the album features a stellar lineup of musicians. The album is full of great instrumental pieces such as M-4 and 8 with Lafayette Leake (Pf.), and M-2 and 12, which are both very moving from the introduction, as well as his passionate vocals.
