Formed in London in 1970 by Richard McCracken (b) and John Wilson (ds) of Rory Gallagher's blues-rock trio Taste, plus Jim Creagan (vo,g) formerly of Blossom Toes. The second album features new member John Weider, a former multi-instrumentalist from the family. The influence of the Grateful Dead-esque American West Coast rock can be heard in the use of violin and piano, and the progressive sensibility that is typical of a British band is alive and well in this album.
