Spotlights, a Pittsburgh, PA-based sludge-gazer. Kelang! and others have released their fourth album, Alchemy For The Dead, on Mike Patton's Ipecac Recordings, while Spotlights will release a new album, Alchemy For The Dead, on Ipecac Recordings. The album is the band's first for the Pittsburgh Pistols. The album was recorded after the band moved to Pittsburgh. "Our focus when making the album was to not repeat ourselves. I think we achieved that goal. We are proud of everything we have released, but we didn't have the option of making just another 'Spotlights' album," says Mario Quintero.Spotlights is a band composed of Mario Quintero (G/Vo/Key), Sarah Quintero (B/Vo), and Chris Enriquez (Dr), who have released three albums so far, "Tidals" (2016), "Seismic" (2018), and "Love & Decay (2019), and three albums. It's impressive that a band as heavy and romantic as Spotlights has established itself on the rock scene." Moreover, it is tremendous that they have done so in such a short period of time," Kerrang! said of the band.
