The poems of the monks of 14th century Salzburg are beautifully revived in a unique arrangement! Johannes Plamzoller's own label, Audax Records, presents Duo Ensle-Lamprecht, who recreate medieval music with recorders and percussion for the modern age! Duo Ensle-Lamprecht brings back to life the 14th century manuscript poems of the Salzburg monks, arranged by Duo Ensle-Lamprecht to their own unique melodies. The ensemble "Duo Ensle-Lamprecht" was founded in Salzburg in 2008. The ensemble recreates the sacred music of the Middle Ages in a fantastic performance using early flutes and a variety of percussion instruments. The recorder is played by Anne-Zuse Ensle, a young virtuoso born in Germany in 1988 who won the first prize at the SRP Meck International Recorder Competition in London in 2013 (a prestigious competition known for having produced Dorothee Oberlinger). 2017's release " Tesserae" (ADX13712) was nominated for ICMA (International Classical Music Awards) 2017.
