In the mid-90s, music, fashion, politics, and society as a whole were all gravitating toward "Britishness". In 1991, Blur made their debut album, "Leisure," which reached No. 7 in the UK. Their second album, "Modern Life Is Rubbish" (1993), reasserted the coolness of British rock music. Their third album, "Parklife", was released on April 25, 1994, and quickly gained popularity, not only reaching #1 in the UK album charts, but also producing four hits: "Girls & Boys", "End of A Century", "Parklife", and "To The End". and "To The End." Described by AllMusic as "a defining album of its time" and by the BBC as "capturing the spirit of the mid-90s," the album won four BRIT Awards in 1995, including "Best British Album," and was nominated for the 1994 Mercury Music Prize. It was also nominated for the 1994 Mercury Music Prize. It has been 25 years since the release of "PARKLIFE," which is not only a monumental work for Blur, but also a masterpiece of 1990s Britain.To mark the anniversary, the BBC RADIO 1 session, recorded a few weeks before the release of PARKLIFE, will be released on 10-inch analog vinyl. LIVE AT THE BBC, featuring four songs from a studio session recorded on March 7, 1994 at the BBC in Manchester for the Mark Radcliffe show. This is the first time these recordings have been released worldwide. They include the single "Girls & Boys," which was released that day, as well as "Jubilee," "Trouble In The Message Centre," "Lot 105," and other songs that will appear on "PARKLIFE. 25 years after the release of "PARKLIFE" - rare sound recordings made before the album's release are now in the hands of fans around the world!
