Krzysztof Meisinger, the famous Polish classical guitarist! Influenced by such musical gurus as Aniello Desiderio and Christopher Parkening, Meisinger has been compared to Pepe Romero and has performed in halls from Tokyo to Los Angeles and Buenos Aires (including the Musikverein in Vienna, the Berlin Philharmonic, the Wigmore Hall in London, and the Wigmore Hall in Paris). On this, his second album for Chandos, he focuses on Spanish works, including famous pieces by Talega, guitar arrangements of piano pieces by Albéniz, and the "Compostela Suite" by Mompou, which was commissioned by Segovia. The collection is centered on works of Spanish origin. Two works by Italian guitarist/composer Carlo Domeniconi (1947-), who has been studying Turkish music, are also featured in the program, giving the audience a performance rich in character.
