The recording includes Bridge's concerto "Prayer," a protest against the inhumanity of war and a lament for the victims of World War I; Cheryl Francis-Hord's new work "Earth, Sea, Air," written for Van der Heijden and premiered in Glasgow a week before this recording. and one of her most memorable pieces, Walton's Concerto, which she performed at the 2012 BBC Young Musicians Competition, where she won the competition. *Recorded May 22-24, 2023, City Hall, Glasgow, Scotland.
