Description:
Keiko Shichijo, a famous fortepianist living in the Netherlands, plays a rare instrument from 1802! Keiko Shichijo studied at the Graduate School of Tokyo University of the Arts, the Amsterdam Conservatory of Music, and the Royal Ghent Conservatory in Belgium. She is a forte pianist who won the Minkoff Prize as well as the highest prize in the forte piano category at the Bruges International Competition for Old Music and the first prize at the International Competition for Old Music "A.Tre" in Trossingen, Germany. Keiko Shichijo, who still lives in the Netherlands and is active in various parts of Europe and Japan, has released a self-produced album on the prestigious Dutch label Et'cetera, which is a remarkable album that will play a leading role in the world of Japanese and Dutch ancient music. The album "Beethoven 1802" is themed on the year 1802, which was a very special year for Beethoven in terms of both private life and composition, as "Heiligenstadt's Will" was written, and features two masterpieces composed or published in 1802, the piano sonatas "Moonlight" and "Tempest" and "Eroica The "Moonlight" and "Tempest" and the "Eroica Variations" were composed or published in 1802. And the instruments used are also a major point of interest. The composition is dedicated to the year "1802," using a rare fortepiano made in 1802 and signed "Frere et Soeur Stein" by the brother and sister of the great German piano maker, Johann Andreas Stein's son Mateus Andreas Stein and his daughter Nanette Stein (Nanette Streicher). The composition is dedicated to the year 1802, using a rare fortepiano made in 1802 with the signatures "Frere et Soeur Stein" (Brother and Sister) by the siblings. Both siblings were friends of Beethoven, and Beethoven owned the fortepiano they made. The Stein siblings broke up in 1802 and went their separate ways, Mateusz as the Stein family under the signature "Andre Stein" and Nannette with her husband Johann Andreas Streicher as the Streicher family under the signature "Nannette Streicher nee Stein each played an important role in the history of the evolution and development of the piano for more than a century.
