Description:
US Oakland SSW STEPHEN STEINBRINK, whose 2018 album "UTOPIA TEASED" was also well received, releases his latest album "DISAPPEARING COIN" on WESTERN VINYL after 5 years in the making! After the release of his last album, STEPHEN suffered from burnout, and in order to regain himself, he became a glassblower and a monk. From there, his mind and body gradually recovered, and he approached the high school student who gave him the title of this work, and watched a short YouTube video of a street magician who makes coins disappear. After getting the idea, STEPHEN produced "OPALESCENT RIBBON" and "CRUISER," indie-pop and folk songs that are more powerful than before, but without losing their subtlety. The arrangements are shimmering and powerful, similar to those of Mac DeMarco in recent years, and the music is irresistible! This is too perfect for a first comeback to the scene!
