Description:

The long-awaited remastered reissue of Square Pusher's debut and immortal masterpiece is now available to commemorate its 25th anniversary! Feed Me Weird Things", the stunning debut album by the genius Square Pusher, was released in 1996 on Richard D. James' (aka Aphex Twin) Rephlex label, and has been available on CD, LP, streaming and download for over 10 years. The album was released in 1996 on Richard D. James' Rephlex label (a.k.a. Aphex Twin) and has not been available on CD, LP, streaming, or download for over 10 years. However, if you listen to "Feed Me Weird Things," which includes songs he wrote when he was only 19 years old, you will understand that the early impulses that drove him back then still drive him today, and that he continues to create unconventional works. The sound on this reissue, supervised by Squarepusher himself, has been remastered from the original DAT, and includes two songs from the B-side of the EP "Squarepusher Plays..." released at the same time, "Theme From Goodbye The 16-page booklet includes self-liner notes, a song-by-song description by the artist himself, including information on equipment used, and rare photos and notes from the early days of his career. One of the reasons why this album is so special and stands out from other good works by other artists of the same era in electronic music at a time when various subgenres were emerging is that it is the first work by Tom Jenkinson, who was strongly influenced by jazz, to achieve an innovative fusion of jazz and electronics, and to showcase his exceptional bass playing. and was also the first to showcase his exceptional bass playing. While the intricately constructed, sometimes super-fast beats were stimulating, his already accomplished bass playing resonated in a pleasantly engaging way that captivated all progressive music fans.
