This 2016 recital disc by French guitarist Armen Donnayan, born in 1989, began playing guitar at the age of 6. In 2012, he won first prize at the "Ivar Meyrantz International Competition" in England, second prize at the "Stefano Strata Competition" in Italy in 2014 and the In 2015, he won the silver medal at the GFA (GITAR FOUNDATION OF AMERICA) International Guitar Competition, the pinnacle of guitar competitions. The album, which showcases the versatility of Donnayan's upcoming career, features a wide variety of works from Hungary, Poland, Italy, Spain, Cuba, and Brazil. Recorded in Canada in 2016. (C)RS
